Crazy Conversations on Family Home Evening

Our family has a family night every Monday.  We pray, sing songs, and have a lesson and an activity.  A few weeks ago, HRH taught a lesson on 'Heavenly Father Gave Us Our Bodies.'  Afterward, she had us each write a part of our bodies on a piece of paper and one of a time, we pantomimed what life might be like without that body part.  The rest of the family had to guess which body part we had chosen.  When LG's turn came, he went completely limp and dropped his head on the table.  We guessed neck, bones, spine, muscles, but we couldn't figure it out.  "Well, what was it?"  I asked?  Smugly he replied, "My prefrontal cortex."

HRH:  I like the Hunger Games . . . Well, all but the killing.

Me:  Sweetheart, you may have missed the point of the book.

Bubby:  Mom, when you go to the grocery store can you get me some sparkly water?

Me:  Sparkling water has bubbles. Do you mean bottled water?

Bubby:  Yeah. It's like that . . . But shinier.
